I read through some of the reviews before I purchased. The one that mention red and a con was my reason for buying. My kitchen is apple red with apples on everything (cute too). My trays looks good in the room and they definitely serve the purpose for what I need. I use them with lap/iPad and another for eating when away from the kitchen. I am truly pleased with this purchase that I just ordered another set for a family member for Christmas.
These were so very very poorly put together, the pre drilled holes for the screws on the stand were too big, so we had to jimmy rig it with lots of wood glue and matchsticks. the trays have all needed to be sanded down because they don't fold up, the runners are uneven. Had we realized that these were going to be ******* quality we'd have saved our hard earned money all together. Sears, what happened to good quality merchandise? Shame.
There are a lot higher and a lot nicer than the ones that we had which were the old Coca Cola trays very nice product would recommend to everyone else.
Can use for snacks when company comes which is great for the space.
I got them on sale and use my Shop Your Way Rewards points would save me money thank you Shop Your Way Rewards
Caught these on sale, with a coupon and some CASHBACK from another purchase I made, so they cost me about $10 out of pocket. For that price, they're fantabulous! Assuming you're going to pay full price, sale price, maybe a coupon, but no cashback and pay $50+ for them, they're kinda just "okay". They dont open smoothly, the wood isn't high quality, nor is it finished with lacquer or poly, so condensation will damage them quickly. Be careful
