powerful snow thrower

This is a dual stage snowblower and very much required for Chicago's weather. The assembly was a snap and it started right up. I would recommend this product to a friend.

This is a lemon! Extremely poor design!!

I bought several of these as Black Friday specials. My son's broke within 5 minutes - broken belt. Sears sent new belt and with the new belt it broke again next time using it when hit deep snow. My daughter's started making noise second time she used it would only run on slow speed. Next day, motor would start but augur not turning. Maybe broken belt? Whatever the problem, on phone with warranty for over an hour getting switched from one person to another. Told that belt not covered by warranty after 30 days, even only second time used. Also could bring in to store and they would send out for repairs taking 2-4 weeks. Winter will be over by then!! There is definitely an extreme quality problem and appears to be a fatal design problem. Sears should not even be allowed to sell these and buyer beware - this machine is a LEMON!! Don't expect any satisfaction from Sears after purchase. Don't waste your money even if this sounds like a good deal!

Snowblower

Product is good. Powerful enough but the shoot movement is a very poor design. Would recommend if you don't mind moving the shoot by hand.

I have had it less than 1 month and it has broken 6 times

I am very disappointed in this item. The belt does not stay on even after being tightened. I have not been able to complete the driveway once with it. The belt finally snapped this time when it was tightened. I have had to maintanence people look at it. Very frustrated. It also isn't an electric start it is a pull start. Nothing about this product was what they said it was and now I am stuck with it.
