Rock Solid Performer

I started to buy Dewalt but read a review of out of balance/ poor quality wheels. The reviewer said he sent it back and bought a Ryobi which he loved. Well this is the same unit with a Powertec name. It ran smooth as silk, right out of the box. Very well made with cast tool rests and the twin lights are very helpful. Only issue was on assembly. One of the tool rest castings needed a tap run through the threads. You won't find a better grinder at this price.Too bad it is Chinese.

Powertec 8in Bench Grinder

The grinder was shipped quickly. It has a lot of good features for the price. When it arrived, some parts were damaged. I emailed the manufacturer and listed the broken parts. They responded quickly and sent all the new parts within a week. It appears to be a good company to do business with.
