Great workout! Got past a couple of speed bumps

This is an awesome workout. Already sore after just a few days. There are lots of reviews that mention squeaking and loud noise. I actually had the same problem after the first few minutes. I was very annoyed at the beginning and super frustrated with the loudness. HOWEVER I went in and tried to isolate the issue. Turns out a few of the bolts on the stabilizer were way too tight. After just a touch of slight loosening I have not more noise and squeaking. Clearly this is just my experience but I figured I’d mention for anybody else who encounters this. I will update in a few weeks if anything changes.

Good workout, horrible squeaking, non-existent support

I decided to buy this product because I was hoping that Proform would have worked out the issues with this machine, but I should have listened to the reviews regarding squeaking and poor customer service/support and stayed away. After only a few uses, the machine went from being basically silent to squeaking worse than an unoiled Tin Man running down the yellow brick road during a heatwave. I used the Proform website to submit a request for support (several times), and it's been a week and a half and I have not heard a peep from them- not a good sign. It's really disappointing to spend (waste?) so much money on a machine and then have problems right from the start, only to reach out to the manufacturer--who supposedly warrants the machine for several years--and realize that the warranty is worthless if the company never responds. The machine does provide an excellent workout, and that's even without going all the way up to the highest level (even level 12 of 24 is fairly rigorous). It is also pretty easy on my joints. But, the squeaking is so loud it makes me not want to use the machine; it's loud enough to interfere with watching television or listening to music. Also, the heart rate monitor is useless. I don't think I've seen it go above 100 BPM (and I know for sure my heart rate is way higher). My advice is to find another machine/manufacturer.

A good machine overall

|

Overall this has been a good machine so far. It's quiet and provides a great workout. However, I have experienced two issues with it. The first downside is that assembling it is a total pain, and if you end up disassembling it and then re-assembling it later, it's challenging to get everything back in its right place.

The second issue is that my trainer's resistance motor stopped working after about a week (this is when I discovered the dubious joys of disassembling everything). Surprisingly, ProForm sent replacement parts very quickly and arranged for a technician to service the machine. I give them credit for addressing my issue promptly.

Despite the misgivings noted above, I still recommend this machine because its positive qualities outweigh the problems I've had with it so far. It seems to be running smoothly now and I look forward to future workouts on it.

Great investment

|

Couldn't figure out what I wanted in a home excercise equipment. This was the best investment. Had Sears deliver and assemble, another best investment. Im very pleased with my HIIT. Quite, not bulky doesnt take up much space. I will be using the ifit. Best 800.00. Also purchased a 5 year warranty from Sears. I love Sears warranty program. If you are thinking about purchasing stop second guessing and make the buy.

Awesome machine!

|

This machine deserves 5 stars and those not giving it 5 stars either assembled it incorrectly or didn’t know they could bypass the iFit component by holding the bluetooth button down for about 20 seconds. I highly recommend spending the extra $$ to have Sears deliver AND assemble - they had it up in running in 45 minutes. This machine takes up little space and is so functional as you can have an intense workout or get warmed up for a lifting session. Its extremely quiet and the magnetic resistance works flawlessly. For $800 its a steal and solid investment!!

What a Nightmare -Never Again with Sears--

|

I believe it is a good product but I made the mistake of ordering it online and having Sears delivery team (they sub-contracted it out) to deliver it and install it. What a nightmare. Scratches, damages, not completed. I loved the one I tried at the store. I will never allow Sears to deliver and install anything for me again. After 60 years of purchasing with them, they have lost me as a customer. Very disappointed...
