My Maytag oven had the same problem. I couldn't find anything on line and didn't want to spend a $150 without at least looking at it. So I pulled about 7 or so Phillips screws out of the back of the top of oven and pulled the metal panel out to look into the back of the circut board for the control panel. The control panel can be pull out after unplugging two wires. I unscrewed three screws in the back of the circut board so i could pull it apart and look at the other side and I noticed that that the circut board had been popped out of the plastic catch on the top corner probably from pushing the button to hard. So when you tried to hit the more button for the temperature the circut board would flex and not allow the button to be pushed. I snapped it back in and it woked great. You probably don't have to pull it apart as far as I did to snap it back in place, but I didn't notice it till i had it on my counter top. I hope this can help someone and save you some $$$.
