What does the F0 error code mean on my Kenmore double wall oven?
The F0 error code indicates a Failed Thermistor Control.
Resolution: The following is the procedure to clear the circuits for the F0 error code:
Power off the unit, wait 5 minutes then restore the power.
Press the broil and bake keys simultaneously and "SF" will be displayed.
Press "Hr. Down" and "Minute Down" keys simultaneously for 3 seconds, then the time of day will be displayed.
Press "Temp Up" and "Minute Up." The control panel will display the following:
Go blank briefly
Display all segments briefly
Display "LOC REF" briefly
Display all segments again for 30 seconds
Display "LOC REF"
Acknowledge the "LOC REF" by pressing the "Hour Down" and "Minute Up."
Test control pads. Oven should now function.
If the reset doesn't work the ERC (Part # WB27T10438) may need to be replaced. I recommend scheduling service at 1-800-424-2047.
