The transmission leaking fluid is of great concern because of the not shifting or moving problem. That kind of makes me think that something inside the transmission may have â€œgrenadedâ€ and now itâ€™s seized. The only place where there should be a leak would be at the transmission case halves. If the seal is worn our or the cases have become loose seeing some fluid there would be expected. Fluid on the bottom tells me the case is cracked.
To know for sure you will have to clean off the bottom to inspect it for cracks or holes. You still may not be able to tell and may end up having to take the transmission out to properly diagnose it.
