my kenmore front loader washer doesn't drain the water...it just stops

my kenmore elite HE 4t (model 110.45087 402) just stopped mid cycle..right after the wash segment...it will not let the water go out...I tried 'drain&spin' but it just stops. I got the error code F 02 once....my drain hose is not kinked...i don't know how to disconnect it from the washer or if that would even help

A Washer is definitely something we depend on and when starts malfunctioning it can be a big inconvenience. I have attached some links below that I did manage to locate on the Manage My Life website on way this may be happening. Hope it helps!

From the description you give the most likely problem is the drain pump or filter. I would suggest first you remove the lower access panel and clean out the pump filter.
The 280187 drain pump has a filter that can be cleaned out. See the image below for how to do this. Remember to unplug the washer first.
Make sure the filter is clean and the wire connections are tight and try another drain spin cycle.
You will need a shallow pan to catch the water that comes out when the filter is removed.
