Manage My Life

Thanks for help to clarify what the real problem is in my 12 years old top load Kenmore washer #11026912691, it seems it could be

caused by more than one reason/part. I want to fully examine to buy the right part. The symtom(s) the agitator doesn't seem to agitate at the bottom, plus there is a grinding noise during the spin cycle. How do I examine motor coupler, the agitator dogs, spin bearings, pump, and anything else you think needs looked at? Instructions, plus order of examination, and what tools or needed? Thank you for your help.
