: Working on a TV can be difficult and
due to the
circuits inside. Always remember to unplug any TV before trying to work on it and if unsure of the proper procedures, use the service of a trained professional.
I would like to assist you with your television. There are generally two things that will cause this, a loss of power to the backlights in the panel or a loss of signal. I suggest turning the television on and shining a bright light into it while you can hear sound from a program. You may see a very dark image due to the light from the flashlight. Be cautious to not touch the screen with the light. If there is an image, this could very well be a power supply failure and if there is no image, it is likely to be a panel issue. There are dangerously high voltages in your television and I do not suggest anyone except for trained service technicians service them.
