If the washer will not drain and spin the issue will be with the lid switch and it'll need replacement. If the unit will drain but not perform the final spin, then the issue may be with the drive motor coupling, clutch, basket drive, or lastly the timer. The most common thing to go out would be the coupling. I recommend accessing and checking the drive motor coupling (285753A) to see if it's worn or damaged. The drive motor coupling links the motor to the transmission instead of using a belt. When the coupler breaks or is worn, the washer will not spin or not agitate and spin.
