If the washer is not able to drain water, it's not going to add any water nor will it spin. If it's not draining, it could have blockage or restriction or it could have faulty drain pump or control board.
Since your model washer does not have a digital display, it will flash the five indicator lights and the start light when it detects a failure/fault. Let the washer operate until it begins flashing the lights and then use the image below to decipher the fault code.
The washer will flash the five indicator lights of Door Lock, Wash, Rinse, Final Spin and Control will flash the number of times for the first digit of the code and the Start indicator light will flash the number of times for the second digit.
The drain pump can be accessed by removing the front lower access panel.
Disconnect the power cord from the power source before removing the front lower access panel.
