Once you have the model number you can download an Owners Manual @ -

you will want to erase all codes from the opener so that the remote that was stolen will no longer work on your opener. pushing and holding the learn button on the logic board for 10 seconds will erase all codes from the opener. the manual says 6 seconds but the extra few seconds won't hurt and will make sure they are erased. then when the led light is out by the learn button just press and release the learn button then press and hold the remote button until the main lights flash then release the remote button and the remote will be programmed.

Thank you for contacting ManageMyLife.com regarding your Craftsman garage door opener. I understand your concern with needing to reprogram your extra remote. I see an anonymous member on our site provided you with some excellent information.
The number you provided is the part number of the logic board. The model number will be on a sticker or tag on the overhead opener unit itself. Typically, it will be next to the light bulbs or on the side directly opposite of them. For a Craftsman garage door opener the model number will usually be beside the "learn" or "SRT" button and will start with the prefix of 139 followed by 8 other numbers.
Once the model number is found, you can look up the owner's manual on our site (
find manual
), which will include the instructions for erasing all the codes and reprogramming the remote, as the member above mentioned.
The best thing to do would be to erase all the codes by holding down the SRT button on the motor head for about 10 seconds or until the LED light by it goes off. Then, press and release the learn button and then press the button on the remote. For a keypad press and release the learn button and then within 30 seconds enter the 4 digit code followed by the up/down button.
I really hope this information helps you today. Thank you for using ManageMyLife.com.

I have two Craftsman garage door openers from 4/94, long before I owned the house. I removed the lens cover, but still can't ascertain which is the model number. The garage door openers work fine -- I need to replace the lens covers. Can you help me determine which is the model number? Could it be HBW1127? I also show Part 41A4315-6A which is not the lens cover part number, of course. Thanks so much.
