A great choice. You will see a difference from the driveway to grass. You will need a full charged battery to get through the grass, depending on the height and the level of your yard. My sons enjoyed theirs. I highly suggest a back up battery to be on the charger. It takes a while to trickle charge them. They don't seem to last a long time either. Just a heads up. Hello,
It is possible that it will drive well in grass. I have not ever owned this model for my own children so I cannot say for sure. I am sure it depends on how well the grass is trimmed as well.
