I also had to return and exchange a 1950's S-K 9/16" 3/8 drive deep socket. So after 67 or so years of use I'm OK with that.

Took me a long time too. I just took in a 1940ish BE series with the G and arrow on the underside 1/4"drive 7/16 socket that just split. thats around 77 years old. When he handed me the new one I looked at it and gave it back I didn't want to put it into my old set and they wouldn't let me keep it for old time sake for my set. Broke my heart but the new stuff just doesn't cut it. That is the Chinese stuff I mean. Hey everybody has gone to China. Snap -On, Mac, Husky, you name it. this past 6 months alone I have returned 6 ratchets from Craftsman, Husky, Snap-on, and a brand new 1/4" drive Stanley that locked up the first time I used it. Also one Husky Pass Through ratchet that you could not get the socket to come out of after just one use. I thought maybe I was just doing it wrong but they couldn't get it out either.
