Dish washer trips breaker after running for about 40 minutes into the cycle

so two days in a row now the dish washer trips its breaker. there are no other loads on the circuit except for the light over that part of the kitchen. itll run for about 40 minutes ( just a little shy of when it switches to the rinse and hold cycle) and trips the breaker. I checked the heating elements resistance and it was the as on the schematic. I checked for loose connections as well. there doesn't seem to be any loose or burnt connections and its weird how long itll run before tripping the circuit. anyone ever see this before?
