I do have a product you may want to try (last paragraph) but... As you know, there is no magic pill. Start out making sure you're in a healthy state with a trip to your family doctor. You don't have to starve to death but modify your diet to 5-6 small, low fat meals a day instead of several larger ones! You don't want to lose weight fast in a non healthy way... it won't stay off! Take your time and do it right!
DRINK!!! Drink plenty of fluids, preferably water. Exercise is a problem for me as I have health/pain problems that make me not want to but we all have to MOVE to lose weight! Get out several times a day and take short walks. Build up, slowly but surely! Eventually, if health permits it, add in cardio and strength building.
I also encourage you to have your B12 and Vitamin D levels checked. If these get low your whole body gets out of whack. You can definitely take them over the counter but if low, you'll want to start on injections and prescription doses.
Now as far as your question about something to take.... My daughter has been taking Advocare products and they have helped her. They make a natural supplement that helps increase your energy, curb your appetite, increase metabolism, and stimulate fat oxidation. She has lost 20+ pounds and loves the extra energy it has given her! I have recently started my husband on it and he's been impressed so far. I think they also have meal replacements, cleanses, etc but I have not checked into those yet.
Regardless of your decisions, good luck on your weight loss journey and keep us all informed!! ~Lisa
