Does the filter light need to be reset?

After replacing the water filter (4396508) on a Kenmore ColdSpot 59599992 (S/N SK2649647) refrigerator,
the filter light does not return to normal green status. Why? Is there something that needs to be reset?

After replacing the water filter, the indicator light does need to be reset. To reset it press the light switch 5 times within 10 seconds. I'm sending a picture with instructions from the owner’s manual.
