Why would my GE range display "unlock door" when the oven door is not locked?

I have a GE electric range model JBP23DN1WW that is giving me the message "unlock door" when I try to use my oven. The door is not locked. I can not use the oven. Does anyone know how to get the oven to work again?

I used your tip/fix tonight. I opened the door, removed two screws holding the range down, opened the top of the oven and there was the micro-switch. I disconnected the wire connector. Testes the oven and it worked!!! Thank you!!
