If the washer will agitate but won't drain and spin then most likely the lid switch is the problem. The pump can have something in it like a sock that can jam the pump and the motor. I recommend accessing and checking the lid switch and pump.

The image below gives the instructions for getting access both the lid switch and the pump.
The lid switch will have two terminals with a grey wire and a tan wire. With a volt/ohm meter you can check the switch. With the switch pushed in it should show continuity across the two terminals (with the washer unplugged).
The pump is not meant to be taken apart but you can remove the hoses, some water may come out, and check for something obstructing the pump like a sock.
