Bought 4 for a 1991 volvo 740 turbo I paid $200 for, figured rims were worth more than the car. Happy surprise, car is a good car and the turbo works. These tires are perfect for around the town driving. I am going to buy a set for my wife's 2001 volvo v70 T. Don't waste your money on more expensive tires, these are quiet, smooth riding, and seem to be wearing well after 3000 miles. Set cost me $350 mounted with road hazard, not bad. Have total of $700 into car and it runs great.
These tires appear to have a good warranty (45,000 miles) and a good UTQG. Unfortunately, in reality, these tires will require regular alignment, ebalancing, and rotating more than average. (My last set of tires never needed alignment.) And in the end, you get about 70% life or 30,000 miles out of them. Then when you try to exercise your warranty, its invalid because of "improper tire pressure", "insufficient alignment", or some other excuse. If they do honor the warranty, you get a small, partial credit for another set of "junk" tires. Keep in mind, I had my vehicle serviced regularly at the same Auto Center and performed all the maintenance items.
They're great for the price. And they work well in the rain. Snow hasn't happened yet.
After two years, they've only worn 3/32" (that's with 14,000 miles/year). These will be my replacement tires in another year or so.
Also, my car handles great in the nastiest of winter weather (Volvo V40).
These are great tires, Very durable and at such a great price. I would highly recommend. I could feel the difference the minute I got in the car and started driving after they were installed.
Excellent set of tires for a really cheap price. It fixed my wheel vibration.
