We had a set of Goodyear Viva 2's on my wife's Corolla, and have had lots of problems with them. They're only sold at *******. They wouldn't stay in balance, tread wear was erratic, etc. One of them started making a loud noise. When I looked closely at the tires I discovered they are "blems". I worked at Firestone when going to college and knew immediately what the problem was. I found the Radar tires online at Sear's and did some research on them. I ended up replacing the Goodyear Viva 2's with a set of Radars just before a road trip to Las Vegas from San Antonio. The Radars are smooth and quiet. Gas mileage averaged 41 mpg there and back. My wife is getting 38-39 mpg combined, mainly driving to work each day. Traction on dry surfaces is better than the Viva 2's and wet traction is considerably better. I don't know how well they'll wear, but considering everything else I can see no reason they won't wear well.
I live in Iowa and bought these tires for the price and the good reviews. If you live in areas where it snows, do not buy these! I have only had them one week and am trying to figure out how to return them.
The tire performs pretty well in all season. But it doesn't work well on icy roads/slope. I live in Boston. So I would recommend for its value if you don't live in an area that can accumulate lots of snow.
Worst tires ever.
love these tires for grip the road use and soothe
I just ordered today and tires installed today but, tires are very noisy. Not recommended.
