It works but....

This HDMI cable works, however it's packaging is very misleading and could get a better cable that I needed for less. To start off with, there were two types of RCA HDMI cables at the store, this one being the better of the two but almost looked the same. The better cable says it does 3D, Ultra HD 4K, high speed and 2160p (which is 4K so they list it does 4K twice). So I bought both and thought I would give it a test to see what it really does and whats the difference. There isn't a single difference, they are exactly the same cable! So a true HDMI 2.0 cable which is what this one is pretending to be, will do 4K at 60fps while the older 1.4 cable will do 4K at 30fps. It's not a BIG difference but it's something, and this cable shouldn't pretend to do something when it clearly doesn't. The other less expensive cable is the same way, 4K at 30fps, and also does 3D. All HDMI cables will work the same, the only thing that sets them apart is what model they are. So the newest one will now be HDMI 2.0a, but if you don't have a 4K HDR TV then you really don't need to invest in this cable. Then theres HDMI 2.0 which is for 4K, still able to do HDR but wasn't made for it because it came out before HDR was a thing. The older one is HDMI 1.4 which if you have any 1080p or 720p TV then this one is for you, while HDMI 2.0 would be a better cable you won't notice a big difference in picture quality. If you can get an HDMI 2.0 cable for the price of a 1.4 then go for it, but other then that don't buy into the "You NEED this cable or your TV will look bad".

I bought the HDMI cable to hook up my Dad's laptop to his new TV. Works great. Good price.

Don't forget the cable

|

This cable did the trick to finalize the connection to my new Blu-ray DVD.  The only complaint is that it isn't already included in the DVD box.  I didn't realize I would need it when I purchased the DVD so it required a second trip to the store.
