I got these jeans on the cheap for my husband to wear to work. He likes the style and color of the fabric and I liked the great price.
So I have purchased these jeans before (two pairs) about two years ago, THEY WERE PHENOMENAL... up until my dog tore the buttons out a month ago. After the Great Denim Disaster 2016, I went to Sears and purchased two new pairs to wear with my regular, everyday attire. Pan forward to this evening. I was stopping by a retailer to grab some needed items, namely dog food for the Denim Destroyer and the Slobering-on-the-bed Cohort and Q-tips when nature decided to politely call. I went into the, um, facilities and went to do my thing. Zipper wouldn't budge. I look down in horror. The zipper is split below the actual pull tab... okay. There's a problem (God knows how long I had been already walking around like this). Go to untangle said, 'zipper' (if that's what you want to call this cheap excuse for one), and mind you, this is in front of the no-no-naughty place, so I am not exactly about to go all Hulk on the zipper and accidentally smash the gentleman bits. So I firmly try to pull it both directions vertically up and down. Still doesn't budge. ****. (30 Censored seconds later) I try again after the call has been answered. Still won't budge and now I notice one of the zipper has decided to go for the hockey player look, because it's missing a tooth. I HAVE HAD THESE PANTS A WEEK. I have worn them once... today, in fact. Was the first day. Ever. And they broke. I make my best effort to pull my shirt down and cover the affected opening. Sort of shuffle my way to the dog food aisle as to where I can grab the 20 lb. of dog food and deliberately and awkwardly hold it in front of my crotch so that EVERYBODY in the store cannot not get a gander at the color of my underwear I chose for the evening. This used to be really good jeans. They are now a shoddy excuse of jeans in my opinion. The two pairs I bought also were the most blue denim looking ones I could find in that batch too. The others looked like a blonde that had spent 20 hours in an over chlorinated pool. Not impressed anymore with these. I'll go back to spending a little more and buying Levi's.
