This refrigerator has LED lights inside to save even more energy than other energy star comparison models that cost more. Has a quick freeze option that allows me to quickly freeze items I have loaded from the grocery store. Also has a great energy efficient mode when we are gone for the weekend that saves power knowing that the doors will not be opened and closed.
Very happy with the functionality of this model and it also looks great.
Loved for the first 13 months then started sounding like a helicopter every time fan came on...clicking on built up ice. System has defects and Samsung knows it and doesn't care. Worst customer service ever. Repairman won't work on, says useless. Google Samsung refrigerator class action lawsuit and ask yourself if it''s worth taking a chance when there are other options out there.
Bought this frig in 2012 it's 3 years old and needs major repairs. Looked up model on Internet and many people have had major problems after only 1 2 or 3 years. Samsung customer service is non existent.
I've only had this fridge for a year. I am going to sell it. I have kids in the house and EVERYTHING shows up on it. To keep it looking clean, i'd have to spray and wipe the front at least every other day. That's a bit much. If you don't have any little ones or even teens in the house, this fridge will be great for you. Works great, inside has lots of room.
excellent choice, very quite. very easy ice and water hook up. great service as always at sears. I buy all my appliances from there and would not shop any where else.
This fridge has been great!! No trouble at all!! Love the storage it offers and is very quiet. Ice maker works well. No bad reviews here.. Only good!!
I fell in love with this fridge at the store. However I very quickly fell out of love with it. We have lost all of the food from our fridge/freezer 3 different times in 3 years. The first time was within 6 months of owning the fridge. Don't waste your money on this Fridge. It has a mind of its own at times and isn't worth the hassle. I will never buy another Samsung Refrigerator!! Do some research on your own and you will see there are many others who have had the same issues with the same and different models of Samsung refrigerators.
This was a nightmare! Bought this fridge without reading online reviews. Made 1 payment and the fridge side went to 50 degrees. All our food spoiled. Repairman took 2 weeks to come to fix it, then took a week waiting for parts. The wrong parts arrived and we waited another week. After new parts were installed the fridge went back up to 50 degrees. Repairman came a week later and told us Samsung is junk. ordered different parts and a week later put them in.... still didn't work. Sears was very unhelpful even though we had a 3 year protection plan and had now had a broken fridge longer then a working fridge. We were told that we have to have a tech try to repair the fridge 4 times within a year in order to be able to get a different fridge. We were also told we would have to pay to get a temp fridge or continue to live eating out of a cooler. Image 2 adults and 1 child eating out of a cooler for THREE MONTHS! All the ice we had to buy... how many times we had to go out to eat... all while the sears bill keeps coming in the mail. We haven't had milk in our house for 3 months! This was during Thanksgiving and we wont have a new fridge till after Christmas. I cant explain how much of a hassle this whole experience has been. Hours after hours of one sears rep making you call another. No one taking responsibility. Wrong parts being ordered. Weeks of waiting for parts to come in or for the tech to show up. Let me sum this up in 4 words...
DO NOT BUY SAMSUNG!
Love the refrigerator.Much needed.The one I had sounded like a race car in the kitchen and never had ice.It is so easy with the outside layer to just wipe off.
