Bright and Vivid Colors

We purchased this TV to replace an older, smaller, Samsung LCD TV. The picture is bright and after a few settings adjustments looks great. The speakers aren't great but they are pretty good for TV speakers - they actually have some mid level to them. I looked at several models before selecting this one. I wish it had a few more HDMI inputs but if I needed more I would have looked at other models. I was willing to give up having a few extra HDMI inputs because the picture is so great. The remote is odd shaped, sort of a half cyclinder shape, and takes a while to get used to. Overall I am happy with the picture, the sound, the odd remote and the limited number of HDMI inputs.

Bad picture

Can't recommend this one. Picture is full of ghosting and blur, had to be returned because of bad panel.

HORRIBLE TV!!

|

Purchased to replace a 1 year old tv that quit working. I had a Sears protection agreement that covered a replacement tv. Too bad my local Sears is phasing out their electronics department and only had a few tvs left. Too bad Sears online doesn't let you purchase at least half the tvs listed on the site. They are "unavailable for store pick up or home delivery." Anyway....this tv had the worst sound I've heard in any flat screen tv. The sound sounded as if it was coming from far away. There were blotchy/pixelated areas in most dark areas of the screen. There was a light grey patch covering the center of the screen and the corners of the screen were black. It looks like you're watching tv while looking through a tube. I'm taking the tv back after only 3 days since these problems occurred the very first time it was turned on out of the box. Getting another replacement should be interesting since Sears no longer has much available.

Best replacement

My old tv had started smoking one day and so the time had come to get a new one. I have a Samsung phone and camera so I decided to get a Samsung tv and I'm glad I did.

Great TV

|

This TV has great quality and color. The features aren't top of the line (i.e. smart TV), but everything you need to watch TV and toggle around your favorite channels with ease.

Great TV.

|

We have had this TV for about 2 years, if I remember correctly. We actually found a great deal on it from Best Buy.com and we site-to-stored it, since it was an online deal only. The LED HDTV's are cheaper than the Smart TV's, since the Smart TV's are more "advanced". However, this TV has a beautiful picture, great sound, and we have never had any problems with it. You can change the picture quality for movies or video games, which give you optimal viewing experience. It has multiple HDMI slots, which is a necessity if you have more than one gaming system, DVD players, or BluRay players. You will need to purchase 6 ft HDMI cables though, because the generic 3 ft ones are not long enough to reach your other devices [gaming system, dvd player, etc]

Excellent TV. It is a lower price than some TV's because it is not the "newest" technology, but it still looks great! Keep your eye out online and you can get a GREAT TV for a low price.
