Load Up the Dryer
With ample space, this white Samsung 7.4 cu. ft. Electric Dryer can tackle bulky loads, like bedding, jeans and towels, with ease. No more trekking out to the laundromat to use a specialty dryer.
Better Overall Performance
3-way venting, 4 dryness levels and Sensor Dry help this dryer perform better so you won’t have to sit and watch the laundry. Choose from Damp Dry to Very Dry depending on the load you’ve tossed in. Sensor Dry Technology monitors moisture levels and adjusts drying times so you won’t have to worry about under- or over-drying clothes.
Do Less Ironing
Toss a load on the Wrinkle Release cycle to loosen up wrinkles before work or going out. Use the Wrinkle Prevent feature to give clothes a quick tumble after the dry cycle to prevent set-in wrinkles so you can go about your day or simply forget about your laundry for a while without consequences.
Laundry Done Your Way
Choose from 9 pre-set cycles or manual dry to get your clothes dry just the way you like, from delicates to hardy towels. Toss bulky items, like bedding, towels or a load of jeans...
I purchased this dryer and washer as a set. I like it a lot. It has just enough features to have options but not so many that you are overwhelmed. It doesn't always get thick towels dry. I noticed I have to wash towels on "very dry" instead of "normal" and turn up the heat. Also, it does have a sensor that tells when the clothes are dry and stops. This feature has worked on some loads, and some loads I have had to put back in the dryer for longer. You can override the sensor and just select a manual "time dry" which is what I do if the clothes aren't all the way dry when the dryer claims they are. Slightly inconvenient, but worth it to me to have a matching set. Plays a little song when the clothes are done and you can delay when the clothes are dry if you want to time it so the clothes are done at a certain time. I also like the timer that tells how much time is left to dry. I wish it had the steam feature and the no tumble bar so you can dry shoes in the dryer. But for the price I was willing to sacrifice these features. Overall, it's a great dryer.
I'd give it zero stars if they let me. Bought this dryer less than two years ago and now it's dead. The actual drum inside bent from the weight of the wet clothes. Family of four here...not huge loads or anything, mind you. When that happened it started making horrible noises and was really loud, and it was rubbing the inside as it turned, but it was still working. Eventually a hole tore open in the drum inside near the rim, but it was still turning and drying my clothes..lol, believe it or not. Eventually enough metal tore off from the hole and fell into the engine and gears that it died, at around 20 months from purchase. I'd post the pictures I took of this disaster but I can't here. still looks like new on the outside...the guys from Sears who hauled it away couldn't believe it when they saw it!
I just bought this set washer n dryer and it's already broken down and waiting on repair man to come fix althought still under warranty because we just purchased a couple months ago this is why we bought brand new so we wouldnt run into break downs and waitting to do my laundry! Very dissatisfied
