Plenty of Space
This is the quietest dishwasher I have ever owned, I actually didn’t think it was even running, you won’t hear anything. The design, features and operation are top of the line, the 3rd rack is something I didn’t think I would use, but I was wrong, it’s use and position is perfect. Connecting the WiFi feature does take a bit of time and its intergration into Samsung Smarthings without the separate app would be a plus, but the feature is cool, overall this one is 5 Star!
We purchased this for our newly built home 3 months ago based on the features it offered and its relatively good reviews. But so far its performance doesn't come close to what we'd expect from a machine at this price point. I've included pictures of some of its "basic" cleaning fails - fails that most of our previous dishwashers (models that were well below the price of this one) would not have had. I don't expect any dishwasher to get baked on cheese or burnt on foods off, but I do expect all machines to have no problem getting light greasy residue off ANY surface - afterall, hot water alone does a decent job on its own doing that. So add in a Finish Powerball Tab and Jet Dry, like I have been using for the past several years in all of my machines, and I easily expected this machine to have no problem with greasy residue and lightly soiled dishes. I've used the "heavy" cycle option, and have added the hi-temperature boost option in an attempt to get it to clean better but to no avail. I'm really surprised this dishwasher has such consistently good reviews for its washing capabilities and am just glad we haven't experienced any of the mechanical failures that seem to be its real shortcoming with most of the consumers that are unhappy with it. I'm beginning to wonder if our machine was somehow not installed correctly or has a defect? It runs just fine and is super quiet - it just doesn't clean that well?
I have owed this dishwasher for less than a year and I have nothing but problems with it. I rarely use the dishwasher, except for big family gatherings. This wouldn't clean anything. I would rinse dishes (practically wash em) then put them in the dishwasher, everything was still dirty. Sears technician discovered the motor wasn't working, and replaced the motor. Now the sprayer isn't working. As much as a person pays for these products they should work. Purchased a whole home appliance warranty from Sears, the money spent on that I could have just bought another dishwasher. Disappointed and frustrated.
I bought this piece 4 months ago and it is my second call to the service desk! LC error codes, the machine won't stop blinking and pumping out. Even when I stop the breaker and start again, it won't stop blinking and pumping. There is no way to stop it unless you shut down the breaker.
In the very few days it has worked it was a quiet charm.. Of course it is very quiet: It is shut down!!
The sensors are waaay too sensitive which makes it shut down for any small sense of condensation. Horrible. Horrible. Stay away.
We have had this dishwasher 13 months and it has worked perfectly. You almost can't hear it when it runs.
I bought this about 18 months ago. At about 12 months in a leak started. It leaks only enough to set off the sensor. Then it tries to pump out the unit until I unplug it. When I take it apart there is about half a cup of water in the sensor pan and no indication of what is leaking so I dry it all off and put it back together and we are good for another month. I am so sad that I bought this one. I wish I had gotten a dishwasher that doesn’t leak.
Sensors are way too sensitive. Always getting error codes and never know when or why it is going to stop working.
