The filter makes our well water taste like bottled water!
Purchased a replacement filter - Samsung - from a big box home appliance store and installed it according to directions. Let water flow for several gallons - again, according to the directions on the package. Worked well for a week, and then water flow began dropping. Now it takes more than 20 seconds to fill a 6 oz juice glass. Everything else - faucet position, water pressure, plumbing setup remains unchanged. Possible a defective filter? I dont know.
entered my samsung refrigerator model and ordered what it recommended. wrong type altogether. impossible to figure out which filter replacement to order. shouldn't be this difficult.
purchased my refrigerator 2018. a big water leak was detected inside the where you insert the water filter. it was good that i have ordered an extended warranty for the product. what if? i have not the extended warranty? i am screwd. my samsung/lowes give me a new refrigerator if the problem is not fixed? the bottom line is, i'll stay away from samsung appliances all of it.
if you receive a faulty (leaky) samsung water filter from their company:
samsung says that they are not responsible; their parts department is.
parts says that e-commerce department is responsible.
samsung said to call e-commerce.
e-commerce says they do not handle subscriptions; j & j does.
j and j international says that they do not handle samsung parts or subscriptions and to call samsung.
i have called over 10 numbers (with the menus and waiting that incurs) and every single number has cheerfully informed me that it is not the responsibility of their department .
i am out $35 and will write reviews stating the above from now on. sadly, all of my kitchen appliances are from samsung, which i now see does not stand behind their products.
What can I say it filters the water makes it taste better then tap water
