The Right Size
This gas range has a spacious 5.8 cu. ft. oven capacity, which is more than enough room for a huge holiday roast, mom’s famous casseroles or bake sale cookies.
Designed for Meal Preppers
The convection fan system evenly distributes heat for even baking and broiling. 4 Pre-set easy cook options, delayed start, and a 17,000 BTU Power Burner let you take charge of the kitchen, regardless of whether its Sunday or a dinner party.
Simmer, Sizzle, and Saute
The 5-burner cooktop is any-size-pan-friendly. Whether you’ve got a stew going in Grandma’s slow cooker, stir-fry happening in the huge wok or Saturday morning pancakes on the included ceramic griddle, this cooktop can keep vessels evenly heated with ease.
Less Mess, More Good Food
The self-cleaning oven with child-lock and dishwasher-safe stove-top griddle makes clean-up a breeze, even with the most stubborn and sticky of messes.
Perfectly calibrated to cook accurately, evenly, faster. Clean-up is a dream come true...just wipe with soft sponge (occasionally with one drop of dawn detergent) and it's clean with no streaks. Pots move across burners by sliding...really. No more lifting. Grill is joyful and does 8 pancakes at a time and the grilled cheese steaks were fabulous. The gas burners have the fire going straight upwards not fanning out, so the heat is even on the bottom of the pan (no not spots). You also use less gas because it is more efficient. The combo of conventional and convection heat works really well when you cook several things in the large oven with the fan circulating the heat. The bottom drawer is a warmer. There is lots more features, but you get the idea. This was a great buy.
I'm sitting here looking at the Samsung LP gas stove I purchased and that was delivered a couple of days ago. It looks nice and is probably a great stove but I wouldn't know. I was made to understand that Sears was going to install this stove but was told after it was delivered that it would not be installed despite all the notifications I received to the contrary. Another thing, be aware that gas stoves from Samsung are tuned into natural gas and requires conversion in order to operate on LP gas. We've got got a call in to our local utility company and they are supposed to get back to us tomorrow and hopefully they can perform the conversion and installation at that time. Don't know how much that'll cost but we're dependent on micro-wave and toaster oven cooking for the time being.
So far I am very pleased with this range. I love the two large burners on top and the one long burner in the middle. I have not used the over yet but I expect it to do the job.
I use LP gas so I had to change the orifices. The oven was the most difficult. For the bottom burner I had to wedge a piece of paper into my socket to keep the orifice from falling out as I reached to screw in the new one. On the top burner (the broiler) I turned the stove completely upside down rather than try and hold the burner up to keep it from dangling and breaking the wires while I screwed in the new orifice.
Other than that it is a piece of cake. This range is replacing a 20 plus year old Kenmore range. I expect this one to last me until I am called home to be with my Lord.
Purchased this to replace a broken gas stove. Looks very nice in my kitchen. Takes a little getting used to turning on to cook but I love it. 5th burner with pan was a bonus. Definitely looks more costly then it was
Horrible service outsourced robotic help and generic answers not happy about lost time off for a delivery that was not coming ended up with wife yelling and me going to get a range elsewhere thank you sears.
