Tons of Room

We bought this stove to replace a fairly new Maytag range. The Maytag surface was so poorly laid out, using a couple larger pans was impossible. This stove not only allows more space for the pots and pans, it has five burners to choose from! We chose this unit as we are remodeling our kitchen, and we intend to install this in an island, and the slide in feature is perfect for that.
Unfortunately replaced most of my kitchen appliances w/ Samsung Stainless Steel. Had gas previously. This oven overheats so have to adjust shelves and cooking time to prevent food from burning. SS is very poor quality. Salt scratched it the first time I tried to clean the range top. The cast iron (?) burner caps stain very easily. The closest to clean I've gotten them is with a magic eraser. Also the "cast iron ?" is chipping off the large center burner cap. Not even had it a year.
Worked fine for 2 years . Now the oven doesn’t heat. Trying to figure out what is going on. Shouldn’t happen after 2 years.
Got it 3 years ago. The oven died first time a year ago. Today it died again.
I loved everything about this stove, until the power was off and I could not turn the oven on. Now, after two years the baking element broke.
Couldn’t wait to have it installed to try it out. It’s been 2 months and I’m more excited about it now than the first time I used it. I’m still discovering features I can use to make cooking faster, easier and most efficient. It also looks VERY cool in the new, dark gray, almost fingerprint-proof, finish...next to our new Samsung 3-door refrigerator (I’ve it too!).
Slide in makes very good design and prevent food particles and other particles to fall between the range and countertop. Front right burner has dual burner (large and small in one place) so you can use large burner for high and small for low as you turn the knob. Idea was great, but transition between large/small burner is not smooth. Not sure how to explain, but when you change from low to high, fire gets large (be careful) as it catches fire a bit slow and burns the leaking gas, as it transitions from small to large burner. Also, long middle burner is good idea, but it is hardly used. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.]
