Fit It All
Cooked to Perfection
Convenience is Key
Would be a great appliance with wonderful features if not for the knobs that are too brittle for a product you'd always love to use. Within months of using the stove, two knobs broke. Then another two broke within a few more months. Now I am on my last knob, which already has a bit of a crack and which I don't expect to last for a week. If the quality (durability) of the knobs are still the same, I'd be embarassed to recommend it to someone else.
I like this stove and would like to keep it but for one key factor: the oven depth is very SHALLOW. The oven depth is advertised by Samsung to be 19 inches. This is true, HOWEVER, the USABLE space due to the convection fan and rack configuration is only 14.5 inches. This is very shallow and will not fit my favorite cookie sheet or baking stone. In effect, the usable space is the plane of the flat section of the oven rack. If Samsung were to flatten the rack and flatten the convection fan against the back wall of the oven, the oven would then have a fully usable 19 inches of depth. As the usable oven depth is 4.5 inches less than advertised, the oven's USABLE oven capacity, cannot be 5.8 cu. ft. as advertised. It will be SIGNIFICANTLY less. Additionally, our particular oven, as delivered, has a defective oven thermostat. The actual oven temperature was 40-45 degrees under the oven setting. This oven allows for a thermostat adjustment of up to +/- 30 degrees F. We attempted to adjust the thermostat, but without success as the baking times are still VERY long--so we have concluded the thermostat is defective. This is a beautiful looking oven. It is solid and really nice quality (except for our oven thermostat.) The top burners work just great. The programmed features and excellent. With a correction of the oven depth and a properly working thermostat it would be at the top of its class. I am disappointed to have to return it. I could recommend it only if the oven size were sufficient for the buyer's needs and, of course, with a properly working oven thermostat.
Had it for about two weeks now and I love it. I would recommend this to anyone
I love everything about this except the burner configuration. The two large powerful burners are in the front and I would rather have one for "normal" size pans (like the left rear burner). I only have one pan larger than 12' and I rarely use it. And no pots larger than 12".
Easy clean, fast preheat, easy setup. Love my stove.
It's ridiculous that the burner grates are not level -- especially the right one, in the front. I ordered a replacement set -- and guess what! -- they are exactly the same. So -- Dear Samsung -- you have a factory mold issue -- all the grates on the right are coming out unlevel. The right front is the worst -- pans and pots rock back and forth. When cooking an egg -- it runs to the side. Oh -- and yes, the oven itself is perfectly level -- that's not the issue. How can the quality checking from the factory not check that the mold for the grates is not producing level perfectly level grates? This is so simple. Please fix it.
