Its a little small for our kitchen, but it looks nice and works great considering we use ours all day everyday! We're all happy! [This review was collected as part of a promotion.]
We swapped from an older gas cooktop to a next generation Samsung electric cooktop and the look and capabilities of the Samsung are just what we expected. Similar to all of our Samsung products, the NZ30K7570RS/AA cooktop is solid. It's a sleek looking product that merges into our countertop and kitchen as if it was there from the very beginning. The heat it produces is unlike any other cooktop we have used before. Boiling water does not take near as long now as it did with our gas cooktop surprisingly. The entire platform is easy to use, clean, and keep looking brand new. I look forward to many future meals cooked on this desktop with the ease of cleanup afterwards. There are no heavy metal grates to deal with and the simple look of the product just looks so nice. Fantastic product. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.]
This product is absolutely perfect. It is sleek, fits perfectly with an updated kitchen, and works great. It even has a smartthings integration which I didn't realize until after (perfect for when I can't remember if forgot whether I turned off the cooktop and not home). The color works great too since easy to keep clean and looks great.
The entire cooktop from the knobs, to the burners, to the trim is very easy to clean since it is smooth. The fact that it is black also helps (our old Cooktop was white and that was harder).
One thing I noticed immediately when I switched to this cooktop from my old GE was how quickly this Samsung cooktop heats up. It was actually very surprising in a great way. I had no idea that was even possible.
The number of burners and the spacing between them is also exceptional and the fact that you can switch between burner size by moving the knobs left or right is the icing on the cake.
I highly recommend this cooktop, very pleased! Amazing job Samsung! [This review was collected as part of a promotion.]
We usually love all of our Samsung electronics, and this time was no exception. From the moment that it came out of the box to the moment we used it, everything was flawless. No scratches or dents from delivery. Everything was perfect with packaging, and installation was super easy and quick. Figuring out how to use it was very simple, and the cooktop is very efficient. Water is boiled quickly, and foods are always cooked evenly and thoroughly. What more could you ask for in a cooktop? I love that there are bigger and smaller burner sizes as well since we usually use different sized pots at and pans anytime we are cooking. Everything works so well and I am so pleased. I get compliments about my kitchen appliances often. No one ever guesses that its Samsung! So happy. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.]
Simply put, this is an excellent cooktop. Installation was straight-forward and took very little time.
The overall performance of the cooktop is also excellent. The "turbo-boil" elements are definitely much more powerful than the large burners on my old Kenmore Elite cooktop. My large rectangular griddle that came with my old Kenmore still works very well when placed over the two left burners even though they don't have the small bridge burner between them. I especially like that the large burner is located in the back half of the cooktop thus allowing all of the steam from a large pot of boiling water to be capture more efficiently by the vent hood.
The only small negative is the placement and sensitivity of the "Smart Things" touch control. It is very easy to turn the option on/off by accident when cleaning the cooktop. It would have been better if it required touching the button for a longer period of time, like 10 secs, in order turn the feature on/off or enter setup mode. It's not that much of an issue with this model because you can't control the burners anyway, it only allows you to see the state of the burners.
