convenient access

I have owned the French door bottom freezer refrigerator model RF261BEAESR for 2 years I purchased it new and have enjoyed all of it's featured , but do have a problem with a very loud popping sound, but have gotten use to it. The most annoying problem is the ice maker , when you slide the freezer opened the ice falls behind the drawer , other then shutting the ice maker off and on manually, does anyone have a suggestion to fix this annoying problem?

Buyer Beware!

We have had nothing but problems with this refrigerator! First the ice maker didn't work, and couldn't be fixed. Then the freezer lights stopped working, and couldn't be fixed. Then we finally exchanged it for a new one of the same model. Next it was the water dripping all over the inside of the fridge. Now it's a horrible, loud sound while the fridge is running. The only thing worse than this refrigerator is buying it from Sears! I have literally spent about 65 hours between the 2 fridges waiting at home for them to come fix it. Every time they give me a 4 hour window (4 hours!!!) that they will supposedly come in to look at the fridge, but usually it's the 5th or 6th hour that they actually show up. And yesterday they just never showed up at all! I have wasted over a week and a half worth of work hours waiting for them, and they offer no compensation or anything to rectify the situation. Now I have to listen to the deafening rattle of this awful fridge for at least 2 more weeks!

Clean Lines and GREAT space

|

We needed to replace a kitchen aid side by side. This model has great lighting, a ton of space in the top and lower section. It is easy to find things. The outside has clean lines and fits with the other stainless steel appliances we have. So far, this has been a great addition to the kitchen. No issues at all
