Why are my reviews being rejected??
This fridge is severely lacking both in customizability and function.
The ice/water dispenser is a nightmare.
plays music and displays calendars
very quiet except when depositing ice in bin
shelves and bins are not adjustable
small ice maker storage bin
ice dispenser throws small pieces and chips of ice all over the place which fall to the floor and ruin the wood floor
water stream is too far from activation pad/button so it requires 2 hands to fill cups
water dispenser points to the side
no light for water/ice dispenser
no removable water spill tray, water continuously drips down front of freezer door to floor
water dispenser drips after deactivating water and pulling away cup
danger! severe injury will result if you put a hand on each door handle and open/close either door.
Overall, NOT RECOMMENDED. Such a headache simply due to the ice/water dispenser. HOWEVER, if you don't need much ice or water and don't mind non adjustable shelves and bins, then it's not too bad.
i ordered the refrigerator in april and scheduled my delivery in mid may. i like the appearance and the space inside is great. however, i found the door is dented! this is my first day with samsung refrigerator. it's disappointing!!!
firs the refrigerator was delivered without the ice bucket that goes in the freezer. knowing i needed this for the fridge to make ice, i called support. they sent me the wrong part a week later. i called again, they told me the part would be sent out. a month later, no part arrived, so i called again. they had no record of the part being ordered. they gave me a reference number and said the part was on order. that was a month ago, i called today and the reference number i was given was not helpful and the customer service rep said the service department left note on my ticket that they needed the specific part number to send out. no one had done anything until i called. i am seriously about to send this stupid refrigerator back over a missing ice bucket.
we purchased this fridge in sept 2020 for our new home and absolutely loved the family hub features with the touchscreen and we listen to music most of our day and this was great until......2 monts later the screen started to be unresponsive and the reset button worked sometimes but now we cannot use the touchscreen at all after 2 months of owning this fridge, spent alot of money on this thing and its a brick that holds food. it does have a cool display but cannot use it at this time, we scheduled a service repair but will see how that goes. really hope this works out for us.
