Using activewash™ is like having a sink directly inside your washer. This special insert lets you use a water jet for soaking and scrubbing tough stains. When you’re done, just lift the sink and let the washer do the rest.
Give your clothes a deeper level of clean with a wash that releases steam from the bottom of the tub to penetrate your fabrics. This helps release tough, embedded stains from fabrics.

Only caveat - check your laundry room dimensions - dryer vent hose prevents push back and washer must be pushed back further to clear door in my small laundry room. Sloping tops OK but flat surface for folding clothes would be nice.
Avoid this washer, it will inevitably stop working. I'm sorry I didn't look at reviews outside of Sears to discover this has been an ongoing problem with this model. I was happy with this washer when I first bought it. Then it started shutting down, shorting out, not completing the cycle. We had a repair person come out and discovered the steam from using hot water is actually designed to go right into the electronics compartment.
this worked great at first... then after two years it stopped working.
it won't power back on at all. breaker and cord is fine; it even makes a click sound when it is plugged in, but it is dead.
it had very light use, and still died within 11 months.
this is the second washer that was delivered. The first one leaked water underneath after a few days. sears sent a replacement on 4/26/2019 and on 6/15/2019 it leaked water. waiting to see what sears will do
The lid does not stay up you have to hold it with one hand and put clothes in the dryer with the other hand. The worst!
We bought this Samsung washer to replace our recalled Samsung washer. (fool me once...fool me twice...well you know the saying). We received our new washer on March12, 2019. Today is April 15, 2019 and it's broke. It appears that the drum has loosened, just like our old recalled washer. However, unlike our old recalled washer our 34 day old brand new washer will not complete the spin cycle. The nightmare doesn't begin until you call for service support. Time to wring out clothes. I do not know why I thought Samsung went back to the drawing board to make sure to get it right this time.
