Greater Tub Size for Fewer Loads
With 4.2 cu. ft. of space, this front-load washer gives you the flexibility to get more laundry done in less time. Fit up to 2 baskets of laundry in this bad boy, from a load of dirty jeans to all those piles of work clothes from the past two weeks.
A Need for Speed
The Diamond Drum™ design uses a direct drive motor to pump out a powerful 1200 RPM maximum spin speed with 4 spin settings (High, Medium, Low and No Spin), giving this front-load washer the power to handle almost any load you throw into it, from wispy delicates to tough muddy jeans.
Designed with VRT Technology, this Samsung washer has the need for speed without all the noise. The innovative tub design and sensors keep loads balanced for better cleaning power and reduced vibrations and noise throughout the cycle, even for laundry rooms situated upstairs.
Keeps Itself Clean
Self Clean+ Technology helps remove dirt and bacteria from the washer drum without the harsh chemicals, even after your filthiest loads, giving you peace of mind and a cleaner home. Self Clean+ sends reminders every 40 wash cycles...
I have raised 3 kids and always had heavy duty top loader washers with agitators. I have downsized, the kids are grown, so I wanted to give a front loader a try. There are pros and cons to this machine. Cons - you can't soak a load of whites/filthy sports uniforms/etc. because there's not enough water in the machine to soak them in. Can't do a huge load - could be issue with some families who do a lot of laundry as I did. It takes some getting used to to keep the door open all/most of the time to avoid mold and smells. Depending on your laundry set up, the open washer door can be an obstruction. I don't know if this is a requirement per the operating manual or if people have advised me to keep the door open, but I do and there have been no smells. Detergent dispenser retains water in the reservoir after a load - my advice is to use the pods instead of liquid detergent (the pods I use work great and smell great too!) That way you don't use the detergent dispenser. Pros - appears to use less water to wash a load SUPER QUIET. I MEAN SUPER compared to my other washers. seems to take longer for a load, but you can adjust the settings Appearance is attractive [This review was collected as part of a promotion.]
I unlike other reviewers wait to give a true review. I have had my frontload washer/dryer for a couple yrs and I HATE them. First, they do not get your clothes clean and you have to use them for a while before you notice. I was told I was putting too many clothes in, so I put less, and I was still not satisfied with my clothes being clean. My test, put one full size fitted sheet and two pillowcases in to wash, my grandson who has allergies drools at times and I had noticed that the drool marks were not washing out, the reason for my test, and guess what, even with this small load in my extra large capacity washer, the marks were still on the pillowcases! I can take a washcloth, and that is all I am washing now is a load of washcloths and once washed (or suppose to be) I can take a washcloth out of the washer put it in a sink of water and the water is discolored, EWWW YUCK!! I am now pre-soaking, ringing by hand, soaking again,, ringing by hand, rinsing twice, then putting my clothes in the washer. Only doing this with soaks, washcloths, tee shirts, underware and pillow cases. Towels, sheets and jeans are just too much, heck the others are too much! DO NOT WASTE YOUR MONEY ON A HE WASHER!! Common sense should tell us that you can't get in a shower and just squirt some water and soap on yourself and get clean! These are a rip off! Oh and did I mention the smell they get after a while even by letting the door ajar? My girlfriend has one, different manufacturer and hers is always breaking down, her repair guy told the to use powder because it kills the bacteria whereas the liquids don't, well he was right, but what a pain that is! Oh and the tray that you put the detergent and softener in is another joke! Mine wasn't all coming out so I pulled the tray out and was grossed out big time! Then the area is so small I had to devise something to get in their to clean it! And other reviewers should actually use it for at least 6 months before giving a review. Runs quiet, really! A new broom always sweeps clean, use it then take one of your laundry items and put it in a sink of water and see if yours is clean. All this extra work so my family doesn't stink! Then I have to bleach my sink too! So if I have to wash smaller loads, and use an extra rinse cycle and pre-soak, how is that HE? My opinion is that they should quit making them and give us something that actually cleans our clothing. Did I mention I have been doing laundry for close to 50 yrs, and use to like doing laundry, now it has become a chore!
Great washer, but started having issues with the drum not spinning a month after the warranty ran out. It's a fine washer, but for the price, it's not a quality product.
It is large, quiet, and cleans whatever we put in it
I took delivery of this washer 12/22/2018 so I haven't been using it long but so far it is getting my clothes very clean.
Junk,There claims that it makes no noise is a lie and they no it
