Tackles Large Loads
This Samsung front-load washer has a 4.2 cu. ft. capacity, perfect for handling family-sized and bulky loads of laundry. Piles of towels, heaping hampers and bulky loads of jeans are no match for this washing machine.
Serious Cleaning Power
This Samsung washer pairs a Diamond Drum wash basket with a Direct Drive Motor for superior wash action throughout every cycle. A 1200 RPM max spin speed squeezes as much water as possible from each load to help clothes dry quicker in the dryer. The Diamond Drum design is tough on laundry soils while being
I've tried various settings for different loads since I bought this washer a couple of months ago. The allergen setting and sanitize setting are great for blankets and other bedding. I'm finding out that my clothes weren't really clean with my old washer, and that's a bit disturbing. The spin cycles don't cause a lot of vibration and the clothes come out nearly dry if you use the high setting. Even with heavy loads of towels or blankets, the washer balances the load by adding a little more water to the drum, so you don't get off-balance loads or heavy vibration. I'm able to wash queen-sized comforters and blankets in this machine and they come out totally clean - no having to run to the laundromat to do big loads. I'm also noticing that I don't have the mildew accumulating like I did with my old washer as the inside doesn't stay as wet as my former washer did. It will be interesting to see over time if this becomes an issue, but the machine has a self-clean mode to help prevent that, so probably not. I did a lot of research online before I decided to buy this washer; Samsung had great reviews and ratings and I can see why. It's quiet, it's easy to use, it gets your clothes REALLY clean and the price was great.
I've had this unit since early October. I first found water on the floor about two weeks after delivery. It randomly leaves a large puddle on the floor. Samsung service has been out five times and can't make the leaking stop. I've tried to return it but was told by Sears that I'm past the 30 day limit.
after 3 years, i had to replace the assembly filter because of water leakage. it also spins violently and now the washer won't fill up with water...
I’ve barely used this machine since I own it and now it won’t balance during the spin cycle. I got a technician from Samsung to look at it and he said the spintop and shocks are shot after barely using the machine. Fixing it is the price of new Machine! A real lemon!
Bought this washer with the anti vibration feature...Not impressed at all as this washer moves more than my old one did without the anti vibration feature...
We've had the washer/dryer set for only about 3 years. We noticed the washer started leaking not long after the 2 yr warranty had expired (of course) and it appeared to have been doing it for a while. Wasn't a lot, though, so we just put a towel down when doing laundry. Washer does get smelly, though, despite cleaning and leaving it open. It seemed to do an okay job on washing though, but not spectacular. About two weeks, the dryer stopped working and the cost to repair is so much that we've just decided to scrap the set and buy something that is NOT Samsung.
. First time buying Samsung. Washer does not clean thoroughly. The dryer is too high when stacked to see settings on low- settings dial is tilted Dewrinkle cycle soaks clothes and then takes 20+minutes to end and clothes are damp but still wrinkled. Both have annoyinng songs when ended. Best advice is do not buy.
