This washer does an outstanding job of cleaning my families clothes.

It's really nice that you use less water and less detergent with this washer. The different wash cycles are very much on point. I like the 'bedding' cycle and the 'normal' cycle most of all. I've used the 'sanitize' cycle and it takes way too long, however, it did an excellent job sanitizing the items I had in there. I've also used the self-clean cycle and I appreciate that it has that cycle for keeping the inside of the machine clean and fresh smelling. A somewhat negative item for me is that you have the press the 'power' button to turn on the machine and then wait like 5 seconds to select the cycle and then touch start. I would like a more immediate response from the 'power' button when I turn the machine on. I want to start the machine and walk away. I don't want to wait to get it going. Also, our laundry room is in the house on the main floor and the basement is below. The machine really does vibrate quite a bit and make excessive noise when spinning. I've come to accept that because otherwise the machine is really good. I almost think that if Samsung slowed the spin cycle down a little that the machine would make less noise. It just gets spinning so fast to get the water out of the clothes, I suppose it can't help but make some noise.

Below Expectations

Read all the reviews and thought we were purchasing a reliable washer and dryer, WRONG!!! 2 years washer has a mind of it's own, runs, shuts off, turns on, shuts off, turns on!!!! takes forever to wash a load of clothes!!! very poor quality!!! and the dryer?? the noisiest dryer I've ever heard!!!! Sounds like it's coming apart!!! No Samsung ever again!!!! lesson learn the hard way!!!!

2 months old and already broken

|

Washer is barely 2 months old with 6 loads ran through it and it started leaking. Found something had rubbed the seal and ripped a hole in the rubber boot seal. Samsung sent a authorized repair company and their tech was there for a whole 2 minutes and said Samsung wont cover that as it is consider abuse. I guess washing clothes is considered abuse. My last samsung lasted 8 years and it ate the rubber seal cause the drum came apart. Tech wasnt there long enough to figure out what caused the rubbing. If washing clothes is abuse then I guess I shouldn't wash clothes in this washer. Now I have a 600.00 paper weight in my laundry room as they say they can fix it for 3-400.00. I told them I could buy another washer almost for that cost and it wont be a samsung. Guess im out another 120 to repair the seal myself hope it lasts and im not putting new seals on it every couple of months.
