I have had this bike for over a year now and I absolutely love it. It is so easy and comfortable to ride. It shifts gears easily and everything has worked perfectly. I ride mainly on a bike path but the gears are helpful for the hilly parts.
Because I am short (5'2") I did replace the seat post with one that does not have the shock absorber so I could put the seat all the way down. I can now touch the ground (tip-toes) when sitting on the seat. I tried several other bikes before purchasing this one and while this one is still a tad too high for me, it sits as low as any of the other ladies bikes that I tried. It is so easy to get on and off though because of the open frame design that the seat height hasn't been an issue.
I would highly recommend this bike to anyone that is taller than me - anyone much shorter than this might find the seat too high. It rides smoothly and the design allows the rider to sit more upright than with a mountain bike. It feels a bit like a cruiser but is more sporty and has 21 gears. It's kind of like a cross between a cruiser and a mountain bike. I just love riding it!
What an awsome bike. Very pleasant to ride, it is the perfect balance for the daily use both city and more rough conditions. I am just having some dificulties to find fenders that fit. Other than this a very good purchase.
Love this bike,to get me back into biking. A pleasure to ride and looks great. I am 55 and this bike has gotten me moving again.
Purchased this Suburban CS Comfort Bike as an alternative to my usual cardio workouts. It is sturdy and comfortable to ride. I had forgotten how much fun cycling can be! This would be a wonderful choice for a woman of any age.
