This year the fit & flare dress style is a big trend! It's a fun variation on the classic A-Line dress. It is especially flattering on women who have a slight curve in the waist, and smaller hips. I would stay away from straight cut dresses if you are trying to look curvier. What's nice about the fit and flare style is that it has a bit of extra fabric that flows our from the hips that can camoflauge larger hips, or add dimension & curves for someone who isn't quite as curvaceous. They come in both regular sizes & Plus sizes.
The skater dress styles are also a good choice IF you are willing to have a much shorter skirt length. They are a bit more extreme variation on the fit and flare look that show a lot of leg.
