I was skeptical based upon the reviews but overall, I like this mop. No more buckets or dirty mop water. The only downfalls are: #1 my handle tends to disconnect from the mop base and #2 you definitely need more than two pads--I just don't want to use a pad that I used in my bathroom in the kitchen or laundry room and vice versa. I would definitely recommend this to my friend but I wish it was more sturdy and came with at least four pads.
I purchased this mop based on design, ease of use and functionality. The mop worked one time and after that, never worked again. I was very dissapointed. The steam part of the mop did not work even after pumping based on directions. I ended up having to use a mop and bucket for the rest of my floors. Although the directions were easy enough, the product did not seem as sturdy as the advertising or labeling. Based on my experience I would be very hesitant to purchase another one. I am returning this one and will choose another brand.

the shark steam mop is great!!
|This mop is lightweight, heats up in 30 seconds and you are ready to mop, I love it. It easily cleans the floor surface, right up to the corners and walls. I do recommend ordering extra cleaning pads if you are using it on more then just a small room with little traffic.

|For a small clearner, this mop works very well. It really can clean. Your house smells clean and freash. This is a good product.

|it does the job without chemicals. although you tend to run out of steam fairly quickly. I have used the shark steam pro and they really have made some amazing improvements. I purchased new replacement pads and that has made a world of a difference. we have a cat, a dog, and most important a little boy. I feel better that we r not using harsh chemicals. this is more of your basic steam mop.

|I love my steam mop! It makes cleaning the floors easier and quicker for normal cleaning and spills and messes. No more lugging buckets of water up and down the stairs!

|It works well, but not as good as it shows on the paid programmed commercial. We still had to push pretty hard to get some of the stuck food on out kitchen floor. The pads do not get as cleaned as I would like them to get either. It does work good on hard wood floors especially since I don't have to use water , which cannot be good for floating floors. I think that there should be some sort of cleaning product that is compatible with the mop to help lift some of the tougher areas of tiled flooring. Unfortunately the mop head became detached from the mop and I have had a hard time getting it to stay on the mop. A little more durability wold be great!
