Shark hit a home run with this canister vacuum cleaner. Easy to setup, change vacuum cleaner heads and accessories. Love the portability, the duster and crevice tool accessible, but out of the way. The only complaint, and a very small one, have to empty the canister just about every time I vacuum. But this is probably a good thing in that the vacuum cleaner suction is outstanding and does a remarkable job in cleaning up just about any surface. I have a bad back and just cannot use an upright anymore. The Shark Canister vacuum is lightweight, moves easily on rollers. I have had two Shark uprights before and neither one of them lasted more than six months. But, I figured that I have spent so much money on less expensive vacuums that do not clean, cannot reach under exposed furniture that I would try this particular Shark and give the company one more chance. I am very careful with this vacuum in that I use the appropriate cleaning accessory for tile, linoleum, concrete, and rugs. I learned with the other two Sharks that one has to be careful with the rollers, one of the most vulnerable parts. I love the fact that you can lift the vacuum off from the base completely, take it anywhere which makes this vacuum very efficient. I have cats that shed and create one mess after the other. Picks up left over dry cat food and cat litter which is flung every which way. One note about the cat litter, I do sweep up as much as possible, do not want the dust clogging the filters which do need to be maintained on a regular basis. I gave this vacuum cleaner five stars, very seldom do I give any product, especially vacuum cleaners that high of a rating. While not overly expensive, I paid good money and so far, the product meets all of my expectations and then some. When something works this well, relatively hassle free, and provides a sense of a well-cleaned home, then money is well-spent. No need to go out and by a Dyson. I suggest that one shops around, compares like and kind vacuums, but relatively sure that the consumer will purchase this Shark Canister vacuum. Word to the wise, do not purchase the protection plan. Waste of money. Usually, if anything goes wrong with a Shark, it will be within the first six months. The vacuum has a manufacturer's warranty good for a year. Shark's customer service is not that good, so please keep this in mind if you do purchase the vacuum cleaner. Maybe it was just my experience and others will fair better.
Brought this vacuum cleaner home and kept it about fifteen minutes before returning it. First, the attachments are flimsy plastic. Second, I never even got to plug it in and try it because the components, the wand and rotator brush attachment wouldn't snap together so the rotator device kept falling off.
I love my Shark vacuum. It works out really well for me since I have 2 cats and a hairy dog. It is so easy to use on my hardwood floors and the few area rugs I have.
This is so easy to use, love the upholstery attachment and may be small but powerful
Love it. Tons of suction
easy to work with, light and functions very well
I've only had it for a couple weeks, but so far this vacuum is amazing. It went together very easily. The attachments are great, and the attachments from our other Shark fit as well. I do wish all the attachments were on board, but I like the smaller canister and those two things aren't compatible.
