Before I review, a little about me. I have had back surgery, and still suffer from a bad back. I also weigh 300 lbs. 1. Price. I paid $225 for my full size mattress and during the Memorial Day Sale I received $63 back in points from various SYW offers. This by far the best deal I could find on this mattress anywhere and believe me, I scoured! 2. Shipping. Arrived when promised, box in tact, but no tracking info was provided. 3. Packaging. This box that must have been designed by the same team who created Fort Knox. It was near impossible to break into the box. No seriously, it took me 45 minutes and a bunch of cuss words to get it open. This was the worst part of it all! Once it was out of the box, the removing of plastic and setting it up was much easier than I expected. 4. Odor, people have mentioned odor... I didn't smell anything at all so I actually sniffed it and it had a very light odor of sweet lemonade. It was pleasant. 5. Expanding... Within the first few minutes I took my first few measurements. I was already at 11 inches, evenly all the way around. I was fully expanded within an hour! (Based on other reviews I consider myself one of the lucky few). 6. Comfort and Support. Was it difficult for my super obese body to turn over? Nope. Did I sink into the mattress? Nope. Did I feel like I was floating and my back was fully supported? Yes. Was it comfortable? Very much so. Did it feel hard? No, it felt soft with just the right amount of support. My daughter, 7, also slept with me a few nights (pesky thunderstorms) she said it was very comfy to her as well. I could not feel her moving next to me. Was it hot? Well I guess I can't answer this question as I used a cotton mattress pad from night one. Overall this is a wonderful mattress and much better than my expensive mattress sets I have purchased in the past.
This mattress arive on time and packed well. It has some chemical smell for about one week and the smell is gone after first week. But this is very firm and when we sleep on it it get bend from where we are lay down due to body weigt. It does not seems comfortable to me and my wife for sleep.
Mattress was great for a little over a year at a fraction of the price for the big brand memory foam matresses. However the warranty does not compare.
We’ve had it 18 months now and it started sinking after about 14 months. We are both just over 200 lbs.
Stuck in the Whirlpool of Mainstream Diets?
If you struggle to lose weight or continue to pack on pounds, then hear this:
It’s NOT your fault.
That’s right…contrary to popular opinion—and what the media and medical community will
probably tell you—there is a strong chance you are not to blame for those extra pounds.
There is something else you need to know:
You are NOT alone.
The majority of dieters fail to keep off a single pound, and the average American dieter makes 4-6 dieting attempts per year. One study even concluded that 95% of severely overweight dieters gained back every pound within 3 years.
Most likely, there are several reasons you’ve struggled to lose weight in the past, and my experience tells me that you fall into one or more of 5 categories.
