When I ordered 2 of these it had 5 stars review. Prior to mine being delivered two people gave it negative reviews which had me worried. The chairs I received both function great. The chair is huge, but very comfortable. It is a bit hard to close, but it is a big chair. I only have one minor issue with the chair, and that is the massage feature & remote control. The remote cord is very short, and it really is not that great of a massage. Good thing I did not order it for the massage feature. I am extremely happy with my purchase, and the sale price was great. Thus the reason I ordered two. Do not be afraid to purchase this item due to the negative feedback left by another person. I think they just got a bum chair. It happens with anything
Had to return.. When I sat in it, my **** hit the board between the upper and lower cushions. I guess you really have to be big..
First the back massager did not work and Sears is sending a replacement for a week since it arrived. On in the last 5 days waiting on the replacement. The box inside the arm rest on the left has come away from the top because the foot rest kept hitting it and then it would not open. I hope the new chair that is coming stays together.
I had my eyes on this chair for almost a month in the store. Every time I passed it I'd sit and enjoy the comfort. I finally took the plunge, purchased it from the store and picked it up with my son from the warehouse. My excitement turned to disgust when I put it together, which was very easy. It was defective! The foot rest wouldn't open and close properly with lumps on the side and it was severely leaning to one side. The next day I returned it to the warehouse and was done with Sears furniture. Well...my sale representative, KiKi, talked to me and assured me that it was a defective fluke and I should try again. After several minutes of convincing me to try another one, I did and, so far, I love it. I had it delivered and set up and if it didn't work, I was going to have it taken away and not look back. I would not suggest ordering online because it may be difficult to return if defective. I would give it 1 more star if there wasn't the drama.
although it has two vibrators it is not an electric lounge very hard to get the foot stool down i would have made a different choice if it wasnt for the hassel
we ended up sending these back. disappointed in all sears products we bought. these things were way too big and firm, you don't sink into it at all, almost like sitting on a dining room chair
Cup holder broke within 90 days and recliner never worked. Poor quality for the price and no response from simmons to warranty after many attempts.
I bought 2 of these recliners in March 2013 & it has been almost 2 years and they both are still perfect. They are comfortable and we sit in them almost daily in our theater room. They are very spacious big chairs.
