This chair is unbelievably comfortable. It came quickly, with very smooth delivery. I've never bought furniture without trying it out before, but this worked out great. I can't vouch for its durability as I've only had it a couple of weeks, but it seems solidly built.
I purchased this Recliner and when i sat init i found it very soft. I fell asleep in it the first night i had it and woke up several hours later with severe back and leg pain I am assuming to the lack of support. it is also very hard to get up from because you sink into it so deep. I would not recommend it. My first time buying furniture online without trying out in store first but unfortunately they did not have this item in store. lesson learned
Within a year the wooden crosspiece holding the foot part up, broke. Then sharp parts of metal starting coming up through the fake leather in the corner of the chair. That is the what happened with the second chair. The first didn't work, and after a few days hassle Sears finally picked it up and delivered a replacement. And it was always uncomfortable. Not enough padding in the back and I had to put a pillow behind my back everytime I used the chair. A piece of ****.
I purchased 2 of these recliners from the Sears Website. It took me 4 months to get a repair scheduled after the power cable was severed after 1 month of ownership,. Now the seam is separating in the seat and I'm having the SAME problem getting and scheduling repair. Comfortable chair, BUT 50/50 chance of getting a "lemon, poorly built" and ZERO customer service and support
I bought this chair because i have weight issues. It holds up to 400 lbs. I weigh just over 300. I can sit very comfortably in this chair with room to spare. It is fairly soft for sitting on the back side of the cushion and makes it a little hard to get out of. There is very little lumbar support. So if you have lower back issues you may not want this chair! You need to keep at least an inch or two away from the wall. The chair mostly hugs the wall but in a fully reclined position needs the extra space. The usb port comes in handy for charging phones/tablets and other electronics. Make sure you have enough slack for your power box. It has a tendency to pull out when reclined if there isn't enough cord. Leather/thread seems to hold up well. I've had it for about 3 or 4 months. Only comes with a one year warrenty! Sears didn't offer anything extended.
