I was worried about getting it because of some of the reviews. I got it for a good deal and couldn't pass it up. The only thing was the back was shorter than I expected but after being in a chair bigger and taller. I like this one better and easy to get out of.
I bought this hoping it would help my back. It hurts more now since the footrest does not go down when the back goes up and the lever is stuck in the 'open' position. Called customer service, they said they would issue a pick up ticket at no charge. Two days later they want to charge me for the pick up of their defective product.
I thought I ordered a brown chair, but it came in tan.. it's very heavy and glad I had help to unload and assemble. I sit much higher than my 20 year old swivel rocker.. But so far it's good.
We bought this chair 6 months ago and it broke, it leans back too much that you feel you gonna fall. Called K-mart support and they transferred me to Sears support where they only repair toasters so they transferred me back to K-mart where they hang up on you after a while. $280 down the drain and a waste of time. No resolution.
This recliner is missing an important thing it does not have a lever to raise it up and down. Not sure why it is in the picture otherwise its comfortable but hard to use.
Okay,so I get you shouldn't expect the best when you pay around $200 for a recliner. I picked up my recliner and got it home and it was in two pieces as expected but was missing any paperwork and the handle for the foot rest. I ended up having to call Simmons and cut a hole in the fabric of the recliner in order to attach the handle to the rod. It's attached but not correctly. It is a more narrow chair. It has a good amount of padding which is a plus. It is NOT easy to clean. It's a bit hard to get it to stay reclined fully. Also, it still rocks when the foot rest is up. This makes putting the rest down hard. Also, it doesn't "lock" in the reclined position. It does lift the rest like a chaise lounge or fully. I would return the chair but I'd have to rent a u haul again, so I'd be out $80.
