The laptop cart is minimally functional in my opinion. I have a large, heavy laptop, (to view movies in a big screen). I don't trust the flimsy table on this cart to hold my precious laptop. But, I didn't buy it for me. I bought it for my 13 yrs old's laptop. He can't even use it as a homework desktop, because it's flimsy. So it's a drink holder.
Putting it together was a breeze. It seems stable, with the exception of the VERY thin and flimsy tabletop portion that you rest your laptop on. No doubt in my mind that any pressure applied to either side will cause the plastic top to snap (e.g.someone leans on or pushs down on the table). Also, the tabletop does NOT TILT. It is fixed in a flat position. Might as well just buy the much sturdier wooden TV tray that Kmart sells (individual or as a set). A single tray is the same price or cheaper, and much more durable. No wheels on the TV tray, but it folds flat for storage. The cart has a telescoping pole for height adjustment.
