Straight out of the box, up in minutes... secure one of the legs and pull the opposite corner and it pops right up. Had a quest slant leg and couldn't find a replacem ent canopy. Bought a straight leg and now I see why. The straight leg is in reality larger than the slant leg canopy types. I can order a replacement canopy from Garden Winds, VERY HIGH QUALITY CANOPY REPKACEMENR, when this wears out in a few yrs. I do recommend this unit!
I am returning this tent because it takes about 20 minutes to get this back in the tight-fitting bag. It had holes it the canopy after its first use.
I just received this, and noticed some problems. First the roller bag was damaged, one of the feet was torn off. Second, the canopy is very thin. There are 8 little velcro straps sewn onto it around the parameter, and these will clearly rip the first time I sneeze! The holes from the sewing are already opened up and I have not even used this yet. This area should have been reinforced. I am going to glue this area right away to add a little more strength.
1. The actual cover is 9' 9" square, close to 10'. Of course this cost a lot more than the slant leg
that are actually 8x8.
2. It is a good heat reflective color.
3. I am 6' tall and I can walk under the side, and I can not reach the center, at the low leg setting.
Why do the retailers keep accepting Chinese junk when they are perfectly capable of producing a quality product at a good price?
If I had paid full price, I would probably return it.
This product tore from wind and it was only up for an hour. Poorly made, do not buy!
