This doesn't work properly, don't waste your money. You get what you pay for! I walked 2 miles and it said I only got 400 steps, clearly wrong!
I was very surprised at how well this worked in keeping track of the miles that I walked on my daily excursion.I knew the approximate length of the walk, but this showed me that when I thought I was only walking 1 mile,I was actually walking 1.5 miles. Accuracy is important & U can set your stride length so u know how many steps you are taking.I like the options to set either distance or steps,& miles or kilometers.Very nice for price.I would get the extra warranty,as during the 3rd day,it dropped onto asphalt & broke,so don't just clip it,invest in an additional way to hold onto it besides just the clip.I went back & bought another, since it is so easy to use & accurate and inexpensive.
Bought the Sportline Strider Pedometer as an inexpensive way to track my daily steps. So far so good. Would recommend it to other friends .
This particular pedometer is excellent quality. It does count accurately, and I'm thinking about purchasing more for a gift.
