Once it's up great, it's getting it up that is the problem

My dad purchased this swing set for our children ( 3 & 5 ), and we did store pick up. It took 3 people just to lift it in to the truck bed. It's that heavy. Get it home, go to put it together, and it was missing parts. The arc washers. Part of the framing that you do first, so we had to go looking for some, as the directions say do not go back to the store for missing parts. No big hardware stores like ***** or ********** carry them, because they are specialty washers. So you have to go to smaller stores like Ace or Gilroys to find them. Finally get home to put it together and it took all day. 13 hours to be exact. The directions, while nicely printed, are very confusing. Holes on the slide, no matter which way you put them, lined up. I got a huge plastic cut from the flimsy plastic that the slide is, because the sides were so sharp. The threads on 2 of the swing screws were threaded completely wrong, couldn't even get a screw on them. Thankfully my husband is a pipefitter and took them to work and rethreaded them. The whole set up was a mess from start to finish. The kids like it, so it serves its purpose. Would I recommend it, probably not. I guess if you like a huge challenge that will have your blood boiling by the end of the day go for it, but the setup is just ridiculous.

Customer service lies. Wrong threads.

|

The threads to one of the hand grips was not made right and wouldn't go together. I called the company and they said they would send a replacement piece. Its been 6 months and I never received it. My kids arent old enough for it yet so I keep forgetting about it. Everything else is fine.

terrible quality

|

Very poor quality. the whole thing shakes if anyone more than a 3 year old goes on it. Also one swing already started breaking and the slide does not sit right so it collects water at the bottom so it's not really usable. I only have it for less than 3 months. Also the manual says not to leave any plastic parts outside in the winter, which is impossible to bring in, bec the frame is put together with some plastic, and the swings are bolted on.

Great Value

Kids love it. Took about 7 hours to put together by myself. Parts are numbered and sorted along with hardware. This made installation easier.

Garbage

|

The top bar bends and twists when my 45 lb swings on it. And nothing fits together tight at all. My opinion it’s a piece of $h!!
